Job summary

The on-site support provided to our members by highly engaged representatives (Ambassadors) as well as the organization of local events are decisive factors in InterNations’ success. Our Community Managers - Events make sure everything runs smoothly and provide on-going guidance for our Ambassadors on the ground.

Job description

Type of contract: fixed term (maternity – parental leave replacement)
As a Junior Community Manager - Events at InterNations, you will:
  • take responsibility for around 40 communities in a specific region and oversee their further development
  • choose, support and manage local Ambassadors
  • ensure that high quality events take place regularly in our Communities
  • implement a payment model as part of our sales strategy
  • ensure the quality of the user experience and monitor all relevant KPIs be responsible for conflict and crisis management
  • help strategically develop our concepts further


You meet the following requirements:
  • university qualification in Business Administration/ Media Studies / Cultural Science, or a similar field
  • fluency in written and spoken English (additional languages are a bonus)
  • recent graduate, or a minimum of 1 year of basic experience ideally in community management, account management, sales or support
  • eagerness to work with Web 2.0 platforms and social communities
  • strong communication skills, assertive, reliable and calm under pressure
  • desire to work in a team with people from all over the world
