Our Community Managers keep everything running smoothly and assure the quality of our members’ offline experience.

Job description

Type of contract: fixed term (maternity – parental leave replacement)

 

As a Junior Community Manager at InterNations, you will:

  • manage groups in a certain region with the goal of increasing activity and promoting premium membership
  • recruit volunteers who are responsible for managing these groups and organizing activities
  • offer individual support and coordinate these volunteers
  • open new groups and strategically develop the groups landscape in your communities
  • analyze KPIs and take ownership
  • ensure the quality of groups and activities
  • be responsible for conflict and crisis management
  • help strategically develop concepts further

 

You meet the following requirements:

  • university qualification in Business Administration / Media Studies / Cultural Science (or similar)
  • fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages are a bonus)
  • recently left university, or have a minimum of 1 year of basic experience ideally in community management, account management, sales or support
  • eager to work with Web 2.0 platforms and social communities
  • strong communication skills, assertive, reliable and calm under pressure
  • desire to work in a team with people from all over the world
